5a-Hydro-Epi Banned & Discontinued

I have some disappointing news to share concerning our Advanced Muscle Building supplement, 5a-Hydro-Epi. 5a-Hydro-Epi will be banned & discontinued. We have a limited supply of 5a-Hydro-Epi left in stock and when that limited supply is gone, we will no longer sell 5a-Hydro-Epi.
The FDA is in the process of evaluating one of the active ingredients in 5a-Hydro-Epi, 5a-hydroxy-laxogenin. The FDA assertion is that while 5a-hydroxy-laxogenin is related to the plant steroid laxogenin there are no reports of it being detected in or isolated from any natural source. Therefore, (the FDA claims) because laxogenin is not derived from a natural source it does not technically satisfy the criteria of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) established in 1994.
We do not agree with that assertion, but when the powers that be speak, we have to listen. At HouseOfMuscle.com we only sell legal dietary supplements. When the legal status of any supplement we sell changes, we discontinue the supplement.
This does NOT mean the active ingredient in 5a-Hydro-Epi is unsafe. The FDA acknowledges that specifically. Their decision has nothing to do with the safety or effectiveness of the supplement. It is based on a technicality in the wording of the 1994 DSHEA Act.
