Body Transformation Pyramid

Body Transformation Pyramid
Hello fellow (or potential) House Of Muscle member,

If you are like me, you want to build a lean, strong, fit and muscular body. To achieve this, I believe there are 3 equally important points - TRAINING, DIET AND REST - forming something I call the Body Transformation Pyramid.

By increasing your performance in each important point you will get more results, faster. High quality sports nutrition supplements, like those in the House Of Muscle line, will augment your performance in each of the 3 important points - TRAINING, DIET & REST helping you complete the Body Transformation Pyramid and thus, help you achieve your goal of building the lean, strong, fit and muscular body you desire.

The first point of the Body Transformation Pyramid, TRAINING, is a no brainer. You have to train hard! You have to train intensely and consistently over a period of at least weeks, if not months and even years, to transform your body. Sports nutrition supplements can help you train more intensely and at a higher level, plus they can help you recover faster from your training.

If you are training more intensely and at a higher level and are able to train more often, because you are recovering faster, you will get more results, faster! Sports nutrition supplements can definitely help improve the first point of the Body Transformation Pyramid - TRAINING.

The second point of the Body Transformation Pyramid, DIET, is tough. Just look at the first 3 letters of the word, "DIE". But you can do it. There are all kinds of diet fads and advice out there, but for me it is really pretty simple. You want to eat small frequent meals throughout the day. (For example, I always try for 6 meals a day. I try to eat at 6:00am, 9:00am, noon, 3:00pm, 6:00pm and 9:00pm.) You want each meal to contain approximately 60% high quality muscle building protein, 30% energy producing carbohydrates and 10% healthy life sustaining fat. In combination with eating whole foods, sports nutrition supplements can help you achieve your goal of eating 6 meals a day, in a specific macro-nutrient ratio - 60% protein, 30% carbohydrates and 10% fat. Personally, I heavily rely on sports nutrition supplements to make this goal even possible. A good quality protein powder supplement can go a long "whey" (pardon the pun) to improving your DIET.

Plus, sports nutrition supplements can help your DIET in so many different ways. Think about what sports nutrition supplements really are. They are "DIETARY" supplements. They are macro and micro-nutrients that supplement your diet.

Anyone who has tried creatine knows that it definitely increases strength output and muscle growth very quickly. But did you know that you would have to eat about 5lbs of red meat to get as much creatine into your body as you could from using one serving of a good creatine supplement? I don't know about you, but I want the results creatine can provide without having to eat 5lbs of meat before my workout to do it. Plus, creatine is safe if taken as recommended and creatine is just one of the many sports nutrition supplements that can improve your DIET - the second point of the Body Transformation Pyramid.

The third point of the Body Transformation Pyramid, REST, is very important. When you REST you recover from your hard TRAINING. If you don't REST properly, you will not be able to do your TRAINING at a high level in your next session.

Nothing beats sound restful sleep through the night. I try to sleep from 10:00PM to 6:00AM. A cool, dark and quiet space, where you feel safe, is the best for deep restful sleep. Sometimes, if I had a really successful TRAINING session that day and I did a good job of filling my body with the 6 meals I referred to earlier, as part of a good DIET, I find myself laying in bed, before I fall asleep and I can actually feel my body changing. I feel my muscles growing. I feel my strength increasing and I know that by RESTING, and continuing to follow a good DIET, I will have an even better TRAINING session the next time around.

So, as you can see, the cycle continues and actually builds on itself. DIET helps REST and REST helps TRAINING and TRAINING helps you get closer to your goal of building the lean, strong, fit and muscular body you desire. It is all intertwined and works together when you increase your performance in each of the 3 points of the Body Transformation Pyramid.

So, get after it! Make an effort to increase your performance in each important point - TRAINING, DIET & REST - utilizing the concept of the Body Transformation Pyramid. Plus, if you augment with the high quality sports nutrition supplements in the House Of Muscle line, you will get closer to achieving your goal of building the lean, strong, fit and muscular body you desire.
