I wanted to update you guys on my current progress, diet and training changes and fill you in on how I'm looking for my upcoming show, The NPC Northern USA's in Harrisburg, PA on Sept. 26, and the Big Cat Classic on Oct. 3rd.
The first thing is I'm bigger and have better conditioning this year at this point than I did last year. I have also made a lot of changes to my shape. I have been invited to train with a bodybuilding team that has seen my potential and has put many competitors on national stages. So, with their guidance and with my work I'm very confident that my bodybuilding career will continue to move toward the goal of competing at the national level.
I'd say I feel confident, but who doesn't want to win? I feel as though I've put emphasis on heavier weight this year and I'm dutiful when it comes to diet and training. Speaking of diet, we just adjusted my plan for the next phase.
My current diet is as follows:
15 egg whites and 1/2 cup oats
8oz chicken and 1 cup jasmine rice
SHOCK, 10g leucine, 4 scoops Recovery Orange, 20g eaas
4 scoop 100% Whey Protein shake with 2 packets instant oatmeal
7oz chicken and 1 cup rice
4 scoop 100% Whey Protein shake
12 egg whites with 1 yolk
3 scoop 100% Whey Protein shake
I can handle more protein and food now. I'm still growing and I'm very excited to compete. I want more than anything to win and move on to a national stage... And I'll do it."
